The scheme is designed to serve customers by creating an easy and convenient process to sell their existing car before taking a leasing agreement for a brand-new car.

The car selling service will be offered by Motorway and allows car owners to compare prices from online buyers and specialist dealers. Motorway has agreements in place with many of the UK’s online car buying sites and dealer groups.

Intelligent Car Leasing’s customer service and sales team will be encouraged to inform any new customers of the partnership, potentially helping them to save time and money when they sell their car.

The function to sell a car with Motorway is also available on the Intelligent Car Leasing website. Users wanting to access the car selling service are directed through to Motorway’s own site where they are able to receive a no obligation valuation of their current vehicle.

Marc Murphy, head of marketing and sales at Intelligent Car Leasing said: “Business owners making the switch from owning to leasing would need to sell or get rid of their old car or van. However, they might not be getting the best deal for their used vehicles. Now that lockdown has been easing, businesses may be starting to pick up again and they might not have the time to research all the best offers.

By partnering with Motorway, we will be able to streamline the process of switching to business leasing, particularly for small business owners. Helping them get rid of their old vehicles for the best price and into a new vehicle to suit their business’s needs.”

The news follows Intelligent Car Leasing last year launching its car subscription payment option, in collaboration with Wagonex.
