BCA has appointed James Hopkins as managing director of BCA Fleet Solutions, effective 27 November.

His appointment follows the move of current incumbent Tony Booth to manage BCA’s build of a new Defleet Centre in Corby, Northants, for VW Group.

Hopkins is currently director of BCA Group Solutions and previously spent six years as head of remarketing at LeasePlan following nearly two years as fleet and remarketing director at Mazda Motors UK.

Ian Carlisle, divisional CEO of BCA Services, said of Hopkins’ appointment: “His experience of multi-site high volume operations, business development, customer services and working in competitive industries will be invaluable especially when supported by the strong team that already exists in Fleet solutions.”
