Fleets given support with switch to ULEVs at free conference

A free-to-attend conference is taking place next month to provide advice for businesses and public/voluntary sector organisations on implementing ultra-low emission vehicles (ULEVs) and deploying active travel commuting.

The event will provide advice on switching to ULEVs

Hosted by Nottingham City Council, the Creating A Low Emission City Conference takes place from 9.30am to 3.30pm on 26 March 2020 and will be chaired by Robert Llewellyn from Fully Charged and Mark Goodier, radio presenter and EV advocate.

The event is organised by the ULEV Experience, which is funded by Nottingham City Council’s Workplace Travel Service, and will include seven panel sessions on topics including ‘Delivering a local public EV charge point network’ and ‘Increasing Active Travel in the Workplace’. The line-up includes speakers from BP Chargemaster and EO Charging as well as Cenex and the University of Nottingham.

In addition, CrowdCharge will be present to launch the Electric Nation Vehicle to Grid (V2G) project, offering Nissan EV owners under the Western Power Distribution licence a V2G home smart charger.
