Craig Cavanagh named SEAT head of fleet

SEAT UK has appointed Craig Cavanagh as head of fleet, replacing Peter McDonald who has now joined Nissan.

Craig Cavanagh takes the head of fleet role at SEAT from January 2020

Cavanagh moves across to the fleet role on 1 January 2020 from his current position as sales operations manager and brings 22 years’ experience in the Volkswagen Group, covering a number of sales and marketing disciplines.

He joins the fleet team as the brand – the winner of the coveted Fleet Manufacturer of the Year title in this year’s inaugural Great British Fleet Awards – continues to report rising true fleet sales; for the year-to-date, these are up 7% in a market that’s actually declined 2%.

SEAT UK managing director, Richard Harrison commented: “Craig is an experienced and trusted member of the SEAT leadership team, and I am delighted to see him progress his career by moving across to lead our fantastic fleet team. We have an exciting year ahead for our fleet customers and partners, as we add five new models, electrify the brand, and continue to build upon our high level of service to fleet customers, through great initiatives such as the 4-Day Test drive programme.”
