Previewed at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the ADAM S features a bespoke turbocharged, high-performance unit derived from the ADAM’s existing four-cylinder, 1.4-litre engine and offering 148bhp.

Combined with a six-speed manual gearbox, it propels the ADAM S from 0-62mph in 8.5 seconds and to a top speed of 124mph.

The engine is fitted with Start/Stop technology and already meets Euro 6 emission standards. Helped by numerous weight-saving features, the model achieves an official combined figure of 44.1mpg and 149g/km CO2.

The ADAM S also features large VXR S brakes, custom-made for the various wheel sizes, 17-inch or optional 18-inch alloys along with a specially tuned chassis.

The ADAM S also gains a slick design with a bespoke front lip spoiler, side sill mouldings and an extended rear bumper cut-out with a visible, bold exhaust tailpipe. There’s also a distinctive rear spoiler above the rear window and the special ADAM S logo on the C-pillars. The model also gets a choice of 10 body paint choices and four roof combinations, including the exclusive “Red ʼn‘ Roll” design.

Inside, there’s four different seat arrangements, three of which are exclusive to the model, including the Recaro Performance seats in Morrocana or nappa leather, various bespoke Red ʼn‘ Roll features.

Kit includes tinted, LED daytime running and rear tail lights, electronic climate control and the IntelliLink infotainment system, which is fully compatible with latest smartphones using both ANDROID and Apple iOS.

The Orders will open for the ADAM S in January 2015.
