Ubeeqo supports online competition to find solutions to Capital’s congestion

The competition is being run by Green Record, which cultivates the exchange of ideas between students and organisations through online competition, and is asking students to design solutions to end the dependency on private car ownership in the Capital.

Benoit Chatelier, co-founder of Ubeeqo, explained: “The challenge set for students is to deliver a persuasive video message capable of disrupting existing urban habits and encouraging lifestyle change that can promote a shift from car ownership to mobility usage – which can be public transport, car clubs, car sharing, cycling and corporate car pooling dependent on the journey and the need.  We hope the solutions presented will interest the successful candidate in the forthcoming London Mayoral election as an inspiring vision for changing behaviour in London.  After all – with recent reports identifying some of London’s roads having the worst pollution in the country – it’s essential that a solution is found to reduce the dependence on the car and associated car ownership in the Capital.”

The competition closes on 10 May 2016. To enter go to www.greenrecord.co.uk/ubeeqo.
