Airmax Remote analysed the research of a full year of fuel data reported by their Airmax Remote Premium Plus product.
The research highlights that a 10,000 vehicle sample, recording 200k miles a year reveals an overall 9.08% improvement, Airmax Remote said, in addition to a 2% improvement per mile (45.52mpg – 46.42mpg) – compared to the average published manufacturer 61.84mpg.
The research based on actual driver behavior statistics concludes that the gap between published manufacturer MPG and actual MPG is 24.49%.
Richard Perham, managing director, Airmax Remote said: “We firmly believe that misuse of company fuel cards and exaggerated mileage claims are set to become a thing of the past. Airmax Remote’s technology delivers complete accuracy and definitive reporting to identify fuel savings for fleet operators.”
