Silverstone Fleet Show visitors to test F1 racing driving skills for chance to win Grand Prix tickets

The Fleet World Fleet Show is being held at the world-famous Silverstone Circuit and the fleet decision-maker with the fastest lap at the Jaama stand will win two tickets to the British Grand Prix, including an on-site car parking pass.

Meanwhile, at the Fleet Show, fleet management software specialist Jaama will be showcasing its Key2 Vehicle Management System as well as promoting its driver licence checking service (Licence2Check) which is delivered online and provides a complete audit trail of driver information and licence checks helping towards comprehensive road safety and duty of care compliance.

The company is exhibiting at the Fleet Show just weeks ahead of the 8th June abolition of the paper counterpart to the photocard driving licence.

Many car, van and HGV fleets already use Jaama’s electronic driver entitlement checking service (EDECS), which seamlessly links with the DVLA’s database, to check the driving licences of thousands of at-work drivers, including employees who drive their own cars on business journeys and spouse drivers.

However, many employers continue to undertake checks internally themselves by looking at the counterpart, which contains essential occupational road risk management information on a holders’ driving entitlement categories and current endorsements/penalty points. This will no longer be possible after 8th June and fleet decision-makers are being urged to implement initiatives now to ensure they have robust validation of employees’ driving licences in place for the June deadline.

Licence2Check is available as a standalone product or as a fully integrated module within Jaama’s Key2 Vehicle Management system.
