Paragon Automotive launches specialist division to defleet alternatively fuelled vehicles

The new operation has been launched as volumes of plug-in cars have reach a record high in the UK.

Ian Carlisle, chief executive officer of Paragon Automotive, commented: “Alternative fuel continues to evolve and is a key part of many OEM’s product lines. As technology moves from concept to the mainstream, and with generational technology improvement, it is fundamental that as a strategic supply chain partner, we keep pace to effectively manage these vehicles at all stages in their lifecycle; whether new, in-life or at the back end as they are reconditioned and remarketed.

“Investment in the latest charging points and specialist training for technicians ensures we are able to improve efficiency to shorten the time it takes to remarket the vehicle. We continue to grow our small truck and covered transport division to move these types of vehicle in the most efficient and appropriate manner.”

Paragon Automotive added that further investment is planned to further enhance facilities across its defleet sites.
