Mitsubishi adds petrol model to Outlander

Mitsubishi’s Outlander line-up is now available with a 2.0-litre petrol engine, joining the existing plug-in hybrid and diesel.

Available to order in seven-seater layout and ‘Juro’ and ‘4’ trims only, the new unit offers 148bhp and 144lb.ft of torque and is married up with a CVT automatic transmission and four-wheel drive as standard. NEDC Correlated CO2 and combined mpg figures stand at 171g/km and 37.7mpg and Mitsubishi has also published true WLTP figures, which are 196g/km and 32.5mpg.

Prices start at £27,680 for the Juro and £29,680 for the 4 – this compares to £31,585 for the Juro diesel auto and £39,500 for the plug-in hybrid auto in 4 trim.

In line with the rest of the Mitsubishi Outlander range, the petrol-powered model features the same updated front and rear design. 2019 Outlander models also get enhanced driving dynamics and extra equipment including Mitsubishi’s new SDA (Smartphone Link Display Audio) system which includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility with DAB and Bluetooth connectivity.
