Leasys UK launches comprehensive short-term rental service

Leasys, the recently launched joint venture between Stellantis and Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance, has introduced a new short-term rental service to expand its mobility solutions.

The service enables Leasys’ customers to rent a car or commercial vehicle outside of their main leasing agreement for personal or business use for between 1 and 28 days

Developed in partnership with an unnamed “major mobility solutions provider”, the service enables Leasys’ customers to rent a car or commercial vehicle outside of their main leasing agreement for personal or business use for between 1 and 28 days.

Through the partnership, the new service provides a diverse range of vehicles and all-encompassing rental service for personal or business use.

With customer experience a key focus area for Leasys, the all-encompassing rental service will cover Collision Damage Waiver and maintenance, as well as free-of-charge vehicle returns at any time, for simple and hassle-free motoring.

It joins the firm’s existing tailored medium and long-term rental solutions, which include multi-brand operational leasing, and supports the company’s ambition to deliver flexible solutions that cover the full spectrum of mobility needs.

Formed from the original Leasys and Free2move Lease businesses in April 2023, Leasys can support fleet professionals with day-to-day and longer-term requirements. The new short-term rental service will enhance the range of services offered, granting further flexibility to its customers as part of the company’s ambition to deliver efficient and effective solutions that cover the full spectrum of mobility needs.

Matthew Boswell, managing director Leasys UK, commented: “We are excited to be launching this service, allowing us to expand our customer offering and provide even greater flexibility through this new and comprehensive short-term rental service.”
