KeeResources to use real-world fuel consumptions and emissions testing data from Emissions Analytics

The firm, which supplies automotive data to the fleet industry as well as vehicle manufacturers and retailers, said the move will enable its users to review independent comparative data and thus make better informed purchase decisions.

Chief executive of KeeResources, Denis Keenan said: “We are delighted to have teamed up with Emissions Analytics to provide their independent real-life test data within our range of products. Having spent significant time with their team, we understand their absolute drive for quality and accuracy and, combined with our model year specific vehicle and forecast data, we believe this information will be of significant interest and practical value to fleet decision makers.”

The partnership follows the launch last month of Emissions Analytics’ EQUA Air Quality Index, which offers a free real-world NOx database based on data gathered from the firm’s Portable Emissions Measurement Systems and on-road testing accessible for free online. The index clearly identifies vehicles emitting the lowest quantities of Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) on a scale from A (best) to H (worst).

Nick Molden, founder and CEO of Emissions Analytics, added: “We are delighted to establish this partnership with KeeResources to bring our real-world fuel economy and emissions data to a wider audience, especially for vehicle fleets. The recent launch of the EQUA Air Quality Index shows the power of on-road testing and the relevance to vehicle purchasing.”
