Hertz renames wholly owned accident management division

The move follows the firm’s acquisition of CCL in 2013. Hertz Accident Support offers a comprehensive range of services to the car and van insurance replacement market in the UK, estimated to be valued at more than £1bn. The provider handles every aspect of a traffic-related accident including processing claims and providing a like-for-like fully insured replacement vehicle, as well as vehicle damage repair.

“The renaming of CCL to Hertz Accident Support marks the next exciting chapter in the company’s growth and development,” said David Rowlands, general manager, Hertz UK.

“Following a three-year investment plan by Hertz, the provider has secured a number of significant insurer accounts, more than doubled the size of its staff and increased its total of partnerships with body shops and dealerships. We intend to continue Hertz Accident Support’s expansion through the delivery of innovative products and services coupled with the highest levels of customer service to insurers and end customers.”
