City Auction Group drives plans for Rockingham
City Auction Group has appointed Emma Woodward as the new business development manager at Rockingham.
Woodward was formerly responsible for managing dealer group relationships at Aston Barclay, and will help with City Auction Group plans to develop and grow the business. The group announced two weeks ago that it’s looking to further develop its Rockingham facilities “into a dedicated defleet and vehicle remarketing fortress” following this summer’s news that the site is to stop circuit activities from the end of the year as it focuses on becoming a “leading automotive logistics hub”.
Woodward has joined the management team and will be responsible for identifying new sales leads, selling City Auction Group’s services to major franchised dealer groups, car supermarkets and independent motor retailers, building concrete relationships to develop new vendors for the new dual lane auction facilities to be introduced in January 2019 and introducing digital remarketing solutions.
She commented: “With major investment in a new head office and auction facilities in early 2018, I am confident that we will be able to attract new customers to the world-class refurbishment and remarking solutions on offer at Rockingham.”
