The ICFM scheme launched a year ago in response to feedback from businesses looking to get involved with the organisation, rather than leaving individuals with the responsibility to get themselves trained. It’s also intended to further raise the standards of fleet industry professionals and overcome a possible skills and knowledge shortage inside many employers.

Northamptonshire-headquartered CD Auction Group has more than 28 years’ experience of remarketing and managing vehicles for many of the UK’s leading organisations, including within the rental and leasing sector as well as large and small corporations.

CD Auction Group managing director Andy Brown said: “CD Auction Group look forward to getting involved with the members of the organisation and helping them get a greater understanding of the speed of change in the remarketing sector away from physical auction to online auctions and how they can embrace that change to further improve returns for their business.”

The group joins existing members Ambit, Auto Windscreens, Geotab, Michelin, SG Fleet and Thrifty Car & Van Rental on the Corporate Investor Programme.
