SsangYong unveils updated Turismo MPV
SsangYong has revealed an updated version of the seven-seat Turismo MPV, with styling more in line with the new Rexton SUV and Musso pickup.

The Turismo offers an unusual spread of talents. It’s bigger than most MPVs, at more than five metres long, has space for seven adults plus luggage on board, and features a removable third row to extend the cargo space.
The range comprises SE, EX and ELX versions, with prices ranging from £20,495 to £26,995, and the Turismo is also available through Motability. A seven-year, 150,000-mile warranty is included across the range.
All versions use a 2.2-litre diesel engine, paired with a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic gearbox sourced from Mercedes Benz, while selected models offer four-wheel drive with a selectable low-ratio mode for off-road use. SsangYong says it can tow up to two tonnes.
SsangYong recorded 4,000 UK registrations in 2017, heavily weighted towards retail customers. But the company is seeking to double that volume within three years via new products and a focus on fleet that’s expected to drive most of that incremental growth.
