A new series of webinars giving a concise outlook for remarketing in 2021 is being made available to anyone in the motor industry.

The webinars are being run to provide a comprehensive briefing on remarketing in 2021

The 2021 Outlook Series webinars are being run by the Vehicle Remarketing Association (VRA) and will provide six 30-minute sessions on a fortnightly basis to summarise year’s prospects in key areas of remarketing.

They start on 15 October with Possible Coronavirus Scenarios in 2021 with Steve Freeman, head of Automotive at MHA Consulting, looking at how different potential pathways for the pandemic could affect businesses.

Future subjects include The New and Used Car Market in 2021 on 5 November, Vehicle Retailing in 2021 on 19 November, The Impact of Brexit on the Automotive Industry and the Economic Outlook for 2021 on 3 December, and 2021 and Remarketing Infrastructure on 17 December. Speakers will be confirmed within the next few days.

The webinars are being held as a pandemic alternative to the VRA’s annual seminar, normally run in November and open to anyone who works in the motor industry.

VRA chair Sam Watkins said: “Despite the pandemic, we wanted to try and create something similar but are also mindful that there is a degree of webinar fatigue underway. Over the last few months, most of us have spent a lot of time on Zoom.

“The format we have created is designed to pack the maximum amount of information into the minimum time commitment. Anyone who attends all six 30-minute seminars will be comprehensively briefed about remarketing in the next year.”
