Trakm8 Prime gets lower pricing and 30-day contract

Trakm8 is introducing new, lower pricing and a 30-day rolling contract for its Trakm8 Prime plug n play vehicle tracking solution.

Vehicle owners can order Trakm8 Prime from the website, receive their devices the next day, and install them in minutes without requiring an auto-electrician

Introduced just over a year ago, Trakm8 Prime is the UK’s first fully-online vehicle tracking solution for cars and LCVs, and can be bought online with no need to deal with a sales person while the unit can be self-installed, meaning no installation or removal fees and keeping vehicle downtime to a minimum.

Under the changes – which are intended to make it even easier and more affordable for fleets to adopt the solution – Trakm8 Prime is now available priced from £7.99 per month, on a 30-day rolling contract instead of a minimum 12 months. Fleet owners who prefer an annual subscription can benefit from pricing as low as £6.99 per month.

Nickie Hunt-Mason, director of direct sales, fleet and optimisation at Trakm8, said: “Trakm8’s goal is to make using vehicle tracking as easy and affordable as possible. Our new pricing structure and rolling contract ensures that customers are not tied into long-term, restrictive deals, but retain their freedom and flexibility.”

As well as offering self-installation benefits, Trakm8 provides full online support, including tutorials, videos and frequently-asked questions, along with a customer care team.

It’s also said to bring more time and money-saving features as standard than any other equivalent OBD telematics system, enabling managers to analyse and address high-risk and high-cost driving behaviour, view highly accurate vehicle location data, receive vehicle health alerts and battery status updates and review journeys. Drivers can also easily record business and private mileage, helping them to remain HMRC-compliant.
