TCH Leasing has introduced a new telematics service to bring a range of benefits for its salary sacrifice, rental and contract hire customers.

Dubbed TCH Clarity, the solution has been developed in partnership with V-Group International, using the moDrive platform, which was launched in 2014 by V-Group.

The solution is being fitted to all new vehicles supplied by the business to its TCH Salsa salary sacrifice customers and also for its daily rental customers. The move is being made to deliver a more efficient scheduling of vehicle servicing, without disclosing locations or infringing on personal information, and to identify any vehicle faults.

An enhanced version is also being made to TCH’s contract hire customers with the capability to provide a range of management information to fleet managers including mileage capture, fuel usage monitoring, carbon emissions measurement, vehicle movements and fuel economy and risk ranking for drivers.

Mark Hammond, managing director of TCH Leasing, commented: “We are delighted to announce the launch of TCH Clarity, which continues to strengthen our customer proposition. In the short-term, our TCH Salsa salary sacrifice customers and daily rental customers will benefit from more efficient service scheduling, as we now have the ability to accurately capture the mileages on their vehicles to ensure that servicing is undertaken at the appropriate time and thereby reduce the risk of faults appearing on the vehicle.

“In the longer-term, TCH Clarity offers our customers and our business a number of additional features, such as fuel usage monitoring and identifying poor driver behaviour,” he concluded.
