Shell Fleet Solutions boosts work with public sector fleets

Shell Fleet Solutions is ramping up its outreach to public sector fleets after being ranked as a number one telematics supplier on a new framework.

Halton Housing has ranked Shell Fleet Solutions as the number one supplier for telematics in its new framework

The new framework has been created by Halton Housing alongside Link Group. As well as improving delivery of the Northwest housing association’s service, the framework is available for use by a range of public sector fleets.

It includes a major focus on telematics; a sector where it’s ranked Shell Fleet Solutions as the number one supplier for its work on providing a data-led approach that can help fleets derive the most from their operations through in-depth insights.

By combining the Shell Card with vehicle data, Shell’s end-to-end offering helps fleet managers to better understand how drivers and vehicles are performing with on-demand, customisable reports. This helps them to optimise routes, boost efficiency and productivity, increase security and help to ensure driver safety.

The framework win boosts Shell Fleet Solutions’ existing work with a wide range of public sector operators.

The company’s UK sales manager Sarah Llewelyn said: “Halton Housing has a reputation for embedding innovation in the way it delivers services to residents, and we share the same ambition when delivering services to our fleet customers. Our experience working with a variety of housing associations, council bodies, charities and more, highlights that our integrated fleet solutions, such as telematics, very much cater to the needs of the public sector, today and for the future.”
