He brings over 15 years’ telematics experience, having helped to found Minorplanet in 1996 before joining rival telematics company Masternaut in 2004. Following the acquisition of Masternaut in 2011 he left the business to found G2M Technologies with his sales director at Masternaut, Rob Goldwater, who is one of the founders of Roadsense Technology.

Roadsense says it is the only provider with the capability to ensure its customers realise Return On Investment through the implementation of a sustainable change process and user training to a nationally recognised standard.

‘This is a great opportunity’, said Tillman. ‘Although Roadsense is a new business, it offers a well-established product that is relied upon by blue-chip organisations in over 20 countries.

‘Our Driver Safety and Efficiency systems are proven in over 15,000 vehicles and our expertise in CANBus and vehicle integration is the best I have seen during my years in the industry,’ he added.

Roadsense is partly owned by Matt Johnson and Scott Cassell, founding owners of the Handsfree vehicle equipment installation specialists, which gives the new venture a nationwide fitting capability and the experience of fitting to over 1,000 fleets.

‘This business has everything it needs to be a very successful venture,’ added Tillman. ‘Great products, hugely experienced people, and the infrastructure and financial stability to deliver. I’m really excited about the future and leading Roadsense to success.
