OviDrive partners with Automotive Software Solutions to expand into UK

Australian vehicle management platform provider OviDrive is expanding into the UK and Europe with the help of Automotive Software Solutions.

OviDrive is connected live from car to driver, fleet admin to suppliers, service request to service shop, budgets to payments

Founded in 2015, OviDrive has developed an automated vehicle management software as a service (SaaS) solution designed to be fundamentally different to standard telematics solutions.

Rather than following the vehicles, the OviDrive solution deploys telematics in a much wider range of automated solutions. It links the vehicle (telematics) with the driver (mobile application) and creates a live interaction between this connection and the fleet ecosystem (suppliers, administration, payments, Fleet Manager).

The result is a solution that provides integrated fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, telematics, suppliers and payments in one unified, scalable SaaS. This is backed up by the OviDrive Pulse live hub for fleet data, which gives live visibility over vehicles and drivers and organises data.

As part of its global expansion, OviDrive has been searching for a partner in the UK & Europe to accelerate its growth aspirations and has appointed ASS. Formed in July 2018, the business identifies and works with software companies to market their products in the UK and overseas.

OviDrive co-founder Irwan Iriks commented: “Choosing ASS was an easy decision – they have already established remarketing/reselling partnerships with other automotive software providers, in addition to developing and enhancing their own products inhouse. Their industry expertise, experience and knowledge is second to none.”

Commenting on the deal, ASS director Sarah Easton added: “OviDrive’s vehicle management platform is innovative and visionary and we are delighted to be representing them in the UK and Europe.”
