Nexus drives business mobility with ‘game-changing’ new app

Nexus Vehicle Rental has launched its latest-gen Nexus Go app, an all-in-one mobility platform allowing employees to manage their own mobility needs while driving business sustainability goals.

The updated app provides access to over 3,000 mobility solution companies throughout the UK and over 265 rental suppliers

Launched in response to industry-wide vehicle shortages and supply issues, the updated app focuses on the needs of the end user, enabling them to manage their own mobility needs – reducing pressures on central fleet managers.

With availability on iOS and Android devices, Nexus Go provides users with access to over 3,000 mobility solution companies throughout the UK, and over 265 rental suppliers.

Users can use the app to tailor their journey to suit personal travel preferences, including car or van hire, taxi services or walking, and it even includes a built-in weather tool.

It also enables users to choose from mobility options that align with their business’ objectives, incorporating filters and preference options with carbon emission calculators, calorie burning tools and more. The additions will help businesses reduce their own carbon footprint levels, and actively promote and track the wellbeing of employees.

The app also provides a consolidated B2B billing solution for businesses, which enables them to keep track of spend, itineraries for expenses and travel history, as well as to plan future trips and filter out particular transport methods.

The launch of the app is part of Nexus’ ongoing commitment to supporting businesses with all their mobility needs while also helping to reach their own sustainability goals.

Scott Haddow, CEO at Nexus Vehicle Rental, commented: “Since the initial launch of Nexus Go in 2021, we have seen tremendous success both on our side, but most importantly with the users of the platform. With a total of 6,000 bookings already made through the platform, we are looking forward to seeing how our updated platform can further benefit the industry and support our customers with all mobility needs.

“The updated and added benefits to Nexus Go will enable businesses to take their mobility solutions to the next level, and support the end-user at a far greater level as well as having an emphasis on providing a tailored experience for each journey.”
