A new course that looks to train fleet drivers to help avoid threats from distracted motorists on the road has launched from eDriving Fleet.

The ‘One More Second’ course looks to train fleets in defensive driving techniques

With recent research having found that eight out of 10 drivers admitted to driving when very tired while separate analysis indicated one in six engaged in a distracting activity, such as talking on a phone, or to a passenger, or smoking, the ‘One More Second’ course looks to train fleets in defensive driving techniques, ready to anticipate the actions of those who are not paying attention.

Aimed at all drivers – newly employed, experienced and high-risk – the two-hour course provides fleet drivers with interactive content, including full-motion video ‘Journeys’ and hazard identification exercises, and covers eight modules that can be taken all at once or individually over time.

The course is priced at £25 per driver with discounts available for bulk training.
