New online car buying partnership target fleets

The new partnership will offer users a full choice of sales routes for their vehicles and will match sellers and buyers by acting as a one-stop shop. The Car Buying Group will provide CarSpring with access to the group’s network of 100 drop-in centres nationwide, together with the group’s online valuation tools, including real-time retail values and instant pay facility.

Users have the opportunity to choose between immediate payment or a retail option for their vehicles. It enables CarSpring to offer all customers a guaranteed price for their car, even if it determines the vehicle is not to its retail standards.

Tom Marley, managing director of The Car Buying Group and formerly at G3 Remarketing, commented: “We are delighted to be in partnership with CarSpring, as this will enable us to offer consumers more choice.  Since our launch in April 2014, we have grown significantly and partnerships like this are part of our expansion strategy. This year has seen the firm enjoy rapid growth, with turnover and vehicle volumes up 25% and 47% month on month since April 2014.

“This partnership also offers business customers with owned vehicles or fleets, a retail outlet, or a guaranteed purchase price, regardless of the condition of the car, helping them with cashflow, as payment is made within two hours.

“We joined forces with CarSpring because our brands are very much aligned. We both share an innovative and forward thinking approach to business and aim to deliver exceptionally high levels of service to our customers.”
