New Nexus corporate rental system enables bookings in less than 10 seconds

The system provides access to over 500,000 vehicles in 1,750 locations and the fourth-generation version has been enhanced to maximise ease of use and enhanced personalisation

The new version has a more modern interface, giving users the ability to tailor the layout of their homepage and features an auto-completion functionality on driver and address selection. It also includes a wider range of fast booking methods, said to be as close to the Amazon one click experience as available in the rental industry.

Another new feature is a drag and drop date handling function for when extensions are required for bookings. Forthcoming development will see improvements to the MI suite, where customers can download reports to evaluate their supplier service, integrated to Nexus’ recently introduced supplier management module.

The IRIS system also provides access to real-time management of damage claims and customer service issues via one central point, allowing customers to see each level of the resolution process.

John Ellis, managing director at Nexus, said: ‘The new version of IRIS will be immediately available to all Nexus customers. We are confident that all users will find the new version easier to use and will significantly speed up the booking process, resulting in an enhanced service.’

‘At Nexus the satisfaction of our customers is our ultimate priority. IRIS is integral to rental booking and management so it is vital that we continue to innovate and remain at the forefront of the industry.’
