New Autoglass technology director to lead new digital strategy and technology investment

Cleary joined Autoglass 25 years ago where he held numerous roles before heading up the Customer Contact Centre and then moving across to become regional IT manager for the company’s parent group, Belron.

In his new role, he is responsible for the company’s digital strategy and delivering its £14m investment programme aimed at improving customer experience and streamlining processes.

Clearly has already helped shape improvements to the customers’ digital and service experience. His team has recently implemented a new workforce management system and are currently making improvements to the customer online booking system, making it easier to make an appointment. The team has also rolled out new android devices to its force of 1,100 Technicians, making information more easily accessible for the company’s mobile workforce.

Taxiarchis Konstantopoulos, managing director, commented: “Nick’s breadth of experience across the Group in both customer service and technology makes him the perfect fit for this newly created and essential role which ultimately places him at the forefront of our strategy. Technology is the key to improving our customers’ experience and at the same time, driving business efficiency.”

Commenting on the role he is playing in implementing the company’s new operating model, Cleary added: “Technology is becoming ever more important for us as a business and to our customers, many of whom now prefer to get in touch using digital platforms. I’m very proud to be leading our Technology function at this exciting time of change for our business and am looking forward to continuing to place technology at the core of our business; which will help us to provide the best possible service to our customers. We are committed to not only meeting but exceeding our customers’ expectations when it comes to their digital experience with Autoglass.”
