The new NWS ADAS sites will open in January 2017 in Liverpool, Sheffield, Norwich and Bishops Stortford.

The new sites will open in January 2017 in Liverpool, Sheffield, Norwich and Bishops Stortford, with bespoke equipment and fully trained technicians to ensure ADAS systems are recalibrated and vehicles returned to OE specification after a windscreen replacement, ensuring vehicle downtime is kept to a minimum.

The move forms part of the firm’s continued work to make fleets aware of the increasing need to recalibrate ADAS cameras post windscreen replacement and to provide a one-stop solution. The company added that it will continue to invest throughout 2017 for customers requiring ADAS calibration.

In a statement, the firm said: “We strongly believe that there is a requirement for strategically placed calibration centres throughout the UK and this is at the corner stone of our customer journey. There has been some debate about who should calibrate following a replacement. At NWS, we feel it is vital that the glass repairer takes ownership of the whole job at point of installation minimising vehicle downtime and disruption for the driver.”
