LeasePlan UK has expanded its management team, to meet demand for new technologies and services.

Chris Black, who joined the company as new business sales director last year, moves up to commercial director, tasked with growing the LeasePlan fleet, strengthening key customer relationships and managing the company’s product offering.

Steve Jones, formerly head of risk, takes on a new role of director, future fleet solutions. This will put him in charge of ‘Car as a Service’ solutions including LeasePlan Flexible, and Subscribe and Drive. Jones will also head up responses to changing technologies, particularly the transition to electrified drivetrains.

LeasePlan UK managing director, Matt Dyer, said: “Both Chris and Steve are big assets for our business and will provide an important voice on the managing board. It is great to see two new internal promotions which enable us to continue and advance the strong position we are in as a business in these areas.”
