For domestic sales, the Passenger Vehicles segment in April-August 2010 grew at 33.88% over same period last year. Of this Passenger Cars grew by 34.32%, Utility Vehicles grew by 22.56% and Multi Purpose Vehicles grew by 50.68%.

The overall domestic sales of Commercial Vehicles registered growth of 44.75% in April-August 2010 as compared to the same period last year. Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicles (M&HCVs) registered growth at 65.91% and Light Commercial Vehicles grew at 29.68%.
