The funds will be used for new, advanced production technologies and processes and will see the new Civic be produced for the European market as well as being exported to key global markets. The changes will also see production of the next generation CR-V move to Honda of Canada Manufacturing (HCM), in Ontario with CR-V to be imported to Europe.

“By establishing HUM as a global production facility for the Civic five door, Honda is demonstrating its long-term commitment to manufacturing in the UK and Europe.
