Free2Move, PSA’s mobility brand, has expanded into offering a short-term car hire service.

The new service will offer close to 20,000 passenger and commercial vehicles for hire in 1,300 branches across Europe

Dubbed Rent, the fully digital service enables individual customers and businesses to rent Peugeot, Citroën, DS Automobiles, Opel and Vauxhall vehicles 24/7, using their smartphones to book, open and start the vehicle and complete the rental. It also offers an optional insurance adapted to young drivers, a reduced car deductible and roadside assistance.

The service debuts in France and will be progressively rolled out in Italy, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Austria, the Netherlands and the UK.

By the end of 2019, it will offer access to nearly 20,000 passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Europe across 1,300 branches.
