FleetCheck to launch consultancy service

FleetCheck is developing a new consultancy service as it highlights its expertise and knowledge of fleet issues, particularly for SMEs.

Intended to complement the firm’s recently launched Policy Manager automated fleet policy writer solution, the new service will see the company’s experts work with fleets on resolving everything from isolated issues through to building an entire fleet infrastructure.

According to managing director Peter Golding, the firm foresees two major areas in which the service will deliver benefits, including setting effective policies designed to cover all key aspects of a vehicle’s life and helping fleets to derive maximum value from telematics technology.

He also highlighted how the company’s knowledge could bring about benefits for operators, including through making use of the annual investment allowance made available by the government, which can be used to apply to vehicle acquisition.

Although Golding acknowledged that operators may not automatically look to a fleet software company for fleet management expertise, he highlighted that the firm has more than 600 customers operating around 60,000 vehicles, explaining: “The fact is that, as a business, we can credibly claim to have as much consultancy ability as almost any other business in the fleet field, especially when it comes to the SME sector.”
