Fleet software specialist FleetCheck is now ISO 27001 certified, reinforcing its information security credentials.

The internationally recognised information security standard specifies and audits processes that are intended to bring information security under clear and unambiguous management control.

The certification comes as FleetCheck reports more than 200 new customers so far in 2018 – bringing the total to more than 800 – and according to managing director Peter Golding, will provide its client base with assurance that their information is being protected with very high levels of control, auditing and security.

“The nature of the services we provide, which quite often include personal details and other sensitive data, means that information security is a subject that we take very seriously,” he added.

“Over the last year especially, we have been increasingly working with a number of major industry bodies and larger fleets, and they rightly demand the highest level of compliance in this area.”
