Fleet World Fleet Show: Vehicle line-up to offer Budget-beating appeal

By / 11 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

The event, which takes place on Wednesday 24th April, will provide fleet attendees with a chance to drive some of the latest ultra low-emission vehicles that will benefit from the newly announced company car tax rates.

This includes Volvo’s ultra low emission V60 Plug-in Hybrid, which reaches 0-62mph in 6.1seconds, has a top speed of 141mph, but produces CO2 emissions of just 48g/km with an official range of 155mpg, making it a hugely attractive proposition for business drivers.

And Citroën’s Electric Berlingo will also be present, allowing visitors to test out the carmaker’s latest electric vehicle technology, which delivers a range of up to 106 miles.

Also present will be Renault’s first bespoke 100% electric car, the ZOE, which, as well as offering zero emissions, also delivers an official NEDC range of 130 miles and an attractive OTR price from £13,650.

The new vehicles form just part of a 200-model line-up from 21 manufacturers that will be available for driving on the Silverstone Grand Prix and Stowe circuits and on test drive routes in the area, as well as providing an excellent opportunity to properly assess their tax-saving capabilities for fleets.

At the same time, a pre-show breakfast briefing from leading tax expert, David Rawlings, has been organised by the Honda Corporate Sales team to confront a variety of tax issues, including the changes announced in the Budget Statement.
