Visitors to the Fleet Show are to be given exclusive access to the all-new Mazda CX-5 ahead of its launch in the UK.

All-new Mazda CX-5 will be available for exclusive chauffeured rides on track.

Two pre-production examples of the new five-seat mid-size SUV will be at the Silverstone event – one on static display and the other available for chauffeured rides on track.

Mazda expects the new version to perform in a similar manner to the first generation model – this sold around 15,300 since launch with fleet buyers. Forecasts for the first financial year following its June on-sale date are around 1,600.

Mazda’s head of fleet, Steve Tomlinson, said:  “As with many manufacturers we have supply constraints but we fight for as much production as we possibly can and are fortunate it is a popular car and we are able to sell them all.”

All-new Mazda CX-5 is priced from £23,695 with a choice of the impressive 165ps 2.0-litre SKYACTIV-G petrol engine with superior responsiveness or the equally impressive 2.2-litre SKYACTIV-D diesel with 150ps or 175ps power output and the choice of either a six-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. CO2 emissions are from132g/km and fuel economy up to 56.5mpg combined.
