The new Cupra Ateca comes with Alcantara Sport Seats, 19-inch alloys, Adaptive Chassis Control (DCC) suspension and an enhanced steering system said to improve feel.

It is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI 300hp petrol engine, linked to a seven-speed DSG (dual-clutch) transmission which, aided by the car’s four-wheel drive ‘4Drive’ system, propels it from 0-62mph in 4.9 seconds with a top speed of 153mph. Four driver modes can be selected using the steering-wheel mounted ‘Cupra’ button to enhance quick-access to different dynamics.

The new car features a digital cabin with a 10-inch driver’s LCD display and a new 9.2-inch central touchscreen for infotainment. The car also includes wireless smartphone charging in the front, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility as standard, and SEAT Connect technology, which offers app connectivity to see status and information about the car from anywhere. This includes being able to see driving data, unlock the doors, flash the indicators to find it in a car park more easily and sound the horn. More interesting to fleets is the ability to setup alerts for speeding – all from the app.
