Benchmark your fleet safety standards with free Brake survey

Fleets are being invited to take part in Brake’s annual fleet safety survey to benchmark their own operations and help with future fleet safety initiatives.

The report says local authorities face berries when trying to implement cycling and walking programmes.

This year’s Road Safety Week puts the focus on being ‘Bike Smart’

Conducted by the road safety charity’s Brake Professional arm, this year’s survey will explore organisations’ policies and procedures regarding vulnerable road users.

The survey – which takes around 15 minutes – is both free and anonymous to complete and all organisations who take part will receive a free copy of the survey report and results. For more details, click here.

The issue of vulnerable road users will also come under the spotlight in Road Safety Week 2018 (19-25 November). The event is coordinated by Brake and will focus this year on being ‘Bike Smart’ and focusing on the safety of those on two wheels.

Companies can register now to take part in Road Safety Week 2018. For more details, go to www.roadsafetyweek.org.uk.
