Appleby Westward will gain enhanced fleet visibility under the Teletrac Navman deal.

The three-year contract, which covers the firm’s 14 HGVs and 30 passenger cars, was signed following a six-month trial and is expected to bring greater efficiency across the fleet and a higher level of reporting.

Appleby Westward is deploying dash cam across all vehicles while its car fleet will also get privacy buttons, providing a way to distinguish between business and private mileage.

The deal also includes an unlimited aftercare package, including training for drivers.

Rob Chapman-Brookes, transport manager at Appleby Westward, commented: “The deployment of industry-leading solutions will prevent us from falling behind the curve and give us the visibility we need to make effective improvements quickly. We are also hoping to free up valuable resource by removing manual processes and ensure greater integration across our fleet.”
