Airmax Remote achieves ISO 9001:2015 certification

Telematics specialist Airmax Remote has secured the new ISO 9001:2015 (standard of Quality Management Systems) certificate.

The latest certificate reinforces Airmax Remote’s commitment to the evolving standards of compliance

The latest certificate represents the third ISO accreditation awarded this year and the fourth consecutive year of Airmax Remote achieving all three certificates of compliance in a move to further reinforce its robust standards of operation.

The updated ISO 9001: 2015 standard considers the technological changes in the business during the last 15 years and recognises the development of requirements that could be dynamic enough to adjust when additional changes occur in the telematics industry.

Airmax Remote said it had succeeded in changes in requirements that will enhance the customer’s confidence in the organisation’s quality management system (QMS) and help the organisation achieve intended results.

In addition to this, Airmax has achieved the latest ISO 27001:2013 (Information security management) and ISO 14001:2015 (Standards of Environmental Management) certificates already this year.

Commenting on the importance of the certification to the company, Airmax Remote managing director Richard Perham said: “It reinforces the message to customers and the wider market that we take compliance very seriously and that we can meet standards as they evolve which is important from a product design perspective.

“Given the pressure on the industry, we see these compliance certificates as an important pillar which underpins our business credibility and supports Airmax Remote’s growth plans.”
