WLTP and diesel demonisation on agenda for VRA
The Vehicle Remarketing Association (VRA) will put the focus on the impact of WLTP and diesel ‘demonisation’ at its forthcoming AGM.
The VRA meeting will look at the impact of WLTP and diesel ‘demonisation’
Taking place on 6 June at BCA, Perry Barr, Birmingham, the event will feature the directors’ report, financial matters and elections, followed by a look at some of the most pressing matters of the moment in the remarketing sector, including how WLTP is likely to impact on the car market, and trends affecting both the new and used sectors as the poor perception of diesel continues.
This will include presentations from Beth Davies of Cap HPI with a high-level overview of WLTP, Paul Smith of RLA Group on ‘What’s Fuelling Buyers’ Car Purchasing Decisions’, Jayson Whittington of Glass’s with a current overview of the new and used car sectors and Glyn Fisher of BEN talking about the support services that the charity provides.
The event is one of the ways in which the VRA supports its automotive and fleet industry members and comes as the association looks to extend its membership. Plans for the second half of 2018 include a major recruitment drive, a new website and a one-day seminar.
