UK fleets asked for opinions on EVs for European Commission research
Fleet operators in the UK are being asked to provide feedback on electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids as part of a project to support their uptake across Europe.
The I-CVUE survey will gauge fleets’ willingness to pay for EVs and plug-in hybrids
The Incentives for Cleaner Vehicles in Urban Europe research project runs from April 2014 to April 2017, and is funded by the European Commission and the Intelligent Energy Europe Programme of the EU.
The project targets both fleet operators and policymakers and looks to support the uptake of plug-in electric vehicles across Europe in order to reduce harmful emissions in urban environments by increasing the number of these vehicles in commercial fleets.
To assist with the project, fleet operators are being asked for their opinions on a number of issues, including willingness to pay for EVs. Participation in the survey is completely voluntary and you may withdraw at any point.
The survey is available here and is open until the end of November. The researchers advise that none of the answers will be translated into any actual additional introduction of charges or taxes in the real world. They will only be used for research purposes.
