Trakm8 will be present at the CV Show, demonstrating how its technology uses many different vehicle parameters to accurately measure how much CO2 a vehicle emits.

The company had conducted research with the Technology Strategy Board and Imperial College London and say it's the only vehicle telematics company to accurately measure the amount of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere, and not rely on manufacturer’s estimates.

John Watkins, Trakm8’s CEO, said: ‘For green-thinking fleet managers, CO2 is increasingly becoming a major factor in determining which LCV to purchase. Using our own algorithm, we can accurately measure the amount of CO2 each van in a fleet produces, and identify areas that can be adapted to reduce the amount of CO2 being emitted.’

Also being displayed at the show will be Trakm8’s fuel consumption reducing technology, its latest hardware – the T8, and its user-friendly web portal, SWIFT.

Trakm8 will be on stand 4C50 at the CV Show, which is at the NEC in Birmingham from 12-14 April.
