CBVC’s relationship with the Wolverhampton-headquartered engineering services group goes back to 2001 when The Deritend Group was the subject of a management buyout led by current chief executive officer, Richard Hale. Since then, CBVC has supplied in excess of 750 vehicles, covering cars and vans, and been credited as adding great value to the business.
Fleet management initiatives implemented by CBVC for the Deritend fleet include the introduction of new fuel cards for fleet drivers.
“This has been a tremendous initiative as we now consistently buy our fuel at below supermarket national average prices and pay no transaction fees. As one of our longest serving suppliers, we look forward to CBVC continuing the good work,” commented Hale.
Mike Manners, managing director of CBVC, said: “The agreement with The Deritend Group is a great tribute to our ethos of working in partnership with our clients. Richard and the rest of the directors and staff are great to work with and we look forward to assisting them in the many fleet challenges that lie ahead.”
