SMMT launches Motor Industry Facts Guide 2016
The 34 page guide contains a wealth of data and background for journalists covering the automotive sector, with information including the latest investment and environmental facts, and even details such as the most popular car colour.
As the industry body representing UK Automotive, SMMT has collated and processed the data into an ‘at a glance’ format, to answer questions including:
- Which car is Britain’s best-seller?
- How many people work in UK vehicle production?
- Where in Britain do we build cars, vans, trucks and engines, and which countries do we sell them to?
- How many lives will connected and autonomous car technology save?
