Skoda reveals prices for Karoq crossover

Expected to start first deliveries mid-January, the Karoq – which indirectly replaces the Yeti – will offer three trim grades from launch: SE, SE L and Edition.

Equipment on the SE trim includes dual-zone climate control, front assist, 17-inch alloys, pedestrian monitor, driver fatigue sensor and LED rear lights.

SE L models are priced from £23,165 and include sat nav with 8-inch touchscreen, Smartlink+, keyless entry and start/stop, rear view camera and front and rear parking sensors, heated front seats and 18-inch alloys.

At the top of the range, the Edition models start from £27,110 OTR and feature a top-spec sat nav with 9.2-inch touchscreen display & gesture control, panoramic sunroof, metallic paint, leather upholstery and 19-inch alloys along with electrically operated boot, lane assist and blind spot protection with rear traffic alert and traffic sign recognition.

Four engine options are on offer from launch. Diesels comprise the 148bhp 2.0 TDI, seen in models such as the Octavia, as well as a new 113bhp 1.6 TDI unit. Both petrols are also new and comprise 113bhp 1.0 and 148bhp TSI units, with the latter featuring cylinder deactivation. A seven-speed DSG transmission is available as an option, with the 148bhp diesel also available with four-wheel drive.
