Simon Carr joins Alphabet as chief commercial officer
Alphabet has named former LeasePlan brand director Simon Carr as its new chief commercial officer, replacing Martin Quail.

Carr brings 16 years’ industry experience, starting off his career as business development manager at Hitachi Capital and including 10 years at LeasePlan in a number of leadership roles.
Carr’s new role will see him work on enhancing relationships with Alphabet’s customer base to collaboratively develop latest products and services.

This year has also seen Alphabet appoint a new head of compliance, Leanne Christmas, and new chief financial officer, Stefan Oswald, who joined the business in March.
