Scottish Enterprise signs up to grey fleet licence checking from Licence Bureau

By / 10 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

The organisation identifies and exploits opportunities for Scotland's economic growth by supporting Scottish companies to compete, helping to build globally competitive sectors, attracting new investment and creating a world-class business environment.

The contract will cover over 800 drivers who drive their own vehicles whilst on company business.

‘Where drivers use their own vehicles, such as with Scottish Enterprise, it’s important to ensure not only the driver, but also the vehicle, is appropriately maintained and insured. The wide geographical spread of Scottish Enterprise’s employees makes these checks a particular challenge,’ explained Malcolm Maycock, Licence Bureau’s managing director.

‘Scottish Enterprise is a very forward-thinking organisation and understand how licence checking has a major positive impact on its overall duty of care and employee safety while driving on company business,’ he added.
