Road Angel launches accident camera system

Dubbed Halo, the system is available with both front and rear camera units with a wide 150-degree and automatically records journeys in real-time before switching to “event” mode in the event of an impact being detected by the internal G-Force sensor. This includes when the vehicle is parked and with the ignition off, enabling the system to record car park bumps too. Footage is recorded to an SD memory card also included.

Road Angel Group’s Carys Seabourne commented: ‘With uninsured drivers a plague on UK roads and insurance scams up by an incredible 34% in 2013, it’s no surprise that UK motorists are beginning to look at new ways to protect their vehicles and their own no claims discounts.

‘With Road Angel Halo drivers can feel protected thanks to its feature-rich specification that records your journeys day and night and is an accepted form of evidence should you be a victim.’

Road Angel Halo has a recommended retail price of £199 and is available through all Road Angel resellers or online at: www.roadangelgroup.com/ProductDetails.aspx
