The 205-mile range new electric Corsa is now available for pre-order.

The Vauxhall Corsa-e is priced from £26,490 (including PICG)

Featuring a 136hp electric motor and a 50kWh battery, the electric ‘Corsa-e’ will be capable of 0-62mph acceleration in 8.1 seconds and a WLTP-rated range of 205 miles to a single charge.

Despite the large capacity battery, Vauxhall says the car can be recharged from 0-80% in just 30 minutes.

The new car can be reserved at a cost of £500 (fully refundable on purchase). The first 500 reservation holders will additionally receive a home charging kit once they take delivery of their Corsa-e.

The Vauxhall Corsa-e is priced from £26,490, (including £3,500 Plug-in Car Grant), and will be availabe in two trims – both of which come as standard with a 7.0-inch touch screen, 11kW on-board charger, satellite navigation, LED headlights, alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and DAB radio.

PCP deals start at £270 per month for 47 months, with a customer deposit of £5,549.40 and an optional final payment of £9,123.00 (representative example), based on an SE model with optional Orange Fizz paint (£650).

Full specifications and range pricing will be available when the Corsa-e receives its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, ahead of series production starting in January 2020.
